Requirements
Must:
As a Principal Java Developer, we're looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:
- 8 years of experience in backend engineering, ideally within a Fintech or high-availability environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java / J2EE development, including design patterns, object-oriented design, and refactoring.
- Proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality services in production.
- Strong understanding of REST API design (JAX-RS, RESTEasy, OpenAPI, Swagger).
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, automation, and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems focused on performance, scalability, and security.
- Understanding client and partner needs and translating them into high-quality, innovative software solutions.
- Contributing to all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) — from requirements analysis to release and post-deployment verification.
- Collaborating across engineering teams to ensure deliverables are technically accurate, testable, and delivered on time.
- Leading technical discussions around architecture, tooling, and process improvements.
- Supporting deployments to internal test environments and production data centers.
- Mentoring and guiding team members while promoting best practices in software delivery.
