Requirements
Must:
- 6-10 years of professional software engineering experience
- Ideally 3 years of production-level Golang development
- Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and containerised environments such as Docker/Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of backend security, distributed systems, scalability patterns, and performance optimisation
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services built in Go
- Lead internal and customer-facing engineering projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
- Own backend architecture, contributing to decisions that enhance reliability, maintainability, and long-term scalability
- Identify performance bottlenecks, analyse system metrics, and continuously optimise backend systems
- Provide mentorship and promote engineering best practices across the team
