Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Android development using Kotlin (Java is a plus).
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK, app lifecycle, and modern architectures (e.g., MVVM).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and cloud-based backend integrations.
- Skilled in writing tests and applying TDD for high-quality, maintainable code.
- Comfortable with version control (particularly Git) and collaborative workflows.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a team-oriented mindset.
- A passion for programming craftsmanship and delivering excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain sleek Android applications using Kotlin.
- Integrate seamlessly with RESTful APIs and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Heroku).
- Drive app performance, debug issues, and ensure top-tier mobile experiences.
- Build robust code with strong unit and integration test coverage, embracing TDD.
- Collaborate with product, UX, backend, QA, and cloud teams to deliver polished features.
- Participate in code reviews and discussions on architecture and design.
- Mentor junior developers and advocate for engineering best practices.
