Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with previous experience in a similar role within an MSP environment. You should have experience installing hosted VoIP systems, particularly 3cx. Familiarity with Microsoft cloud-based services, including 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and the MS Office Suite is essential. Additionally, you should possess networking, routing, and firewall experience, as well as project experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. A full clean driving license is required, as you will be using the company vehicle and may occasionally need to use your own vehicle, with mileage being reclaimable.
Responsibilities
As a Field Engineer, you will be crucial to our team’s infrastructure and will enjoy a diverse range of tasks. Your responsibilities will include liaising with clients to provide on-site support, installations, maintenance, and upgrades. You will install and maintain Cat 5/6 cabling, and set up and install hosted VoIP systems, including the rollout of phone systems, handsets, and door entry systems (3cx). Additionally, you will carry out CCTV installations, install networking equipment, respond to faults, replace equipment, and service and upgrade IT products and services. You will also be part of a 24/7 on-call rota and may occasionally need to attend our datacentres in Chester and Leeds. We value continuous learning, so you will undertake training on bespoke software and hardware partnerships that we have.
