Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft server environments
- Proficient in networking fundamentals
- Experience operating at 3rd line / senior engineer level
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft stack including Windows Server (2012-2025), Exchange Online, Azure AD, Intune, Office 365, Windows 10/11
- Proven capability in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Windows and Hyper-V environments
- Familiarity with Dell EMC SAN
- Excellent understanding of security compliance and risk management regarding global cybersecurity regulations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and customer-focused skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Configure and manage Microsoft Windows domain and Hyper-V virtualization environments
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for Windows virtualization environment, Active Directory, and Windows Server administration
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with the virtualization environment, including Microsoft and Linux operating systems
- Evaluate products and upgrades for appropriateness and implement system upgrade strategies
- Maintain a Dell server environment across multiple locations
- Provide 3rd Level support to Helpdesk engineers
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex solutions, coordinating activities with other technical personnel
- Monitor server backups and network uptime maintenance, providing recommendations when required
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors for support and procurement
- Coordinate proposals and work estimates involving various system administration projects and solutions with business development personnel
- Design and implement secure systems, network policies and procedures, providing technical guidance to the team
