Requirements
Must:
- Experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data analytics (programming languages: Python, SQL, Alteryx)
- Data visualization experience (tools: PowerBI, Tableau, or similar)
- Metadata management and data cataloging experience (tools: Collibra, Alation)
- Familiarity with data platform tools (DataBricks, Azure, Kafka)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a trading environment
- Interest in automation and modern technologies (use of automation, ML, and AI to drive efficiencies)
- Rights to work in the UK are required (no sponsorship available)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data catalog and metadata management processes from the data pipeline
- Engineer data solutions
- Implement data quality standards
- Establish data governance and ensure that data is fit for purpose
- Understand data security and data architecture
- Collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and data product teams
Description
We currently have an opportunity for a Data Engineer on a permanent basis, and the position will be based in London. You will be part of a wider Data Management team that includes data engineers, data analysts, and data governance specialists. In this role, you will engage with stakeholders in the front office, including product teams, analysts, and traders. We offer a hybrid working model, allowing for 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days working from home.
