Requirements
Must:
- 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) C and above (including Maths and English)
- Level 3 (or equivalent) in IT Infrastructure (or similar)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively use ICT packages (Office Suite and email)
- Strong commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and confidence
- Ability to see a project or task through to a successful conclusion
- Commitment to team-working and partnership
- Knowledge of IT systems and software (desirable)
- A level education or beyond (desirable)
- Willingness to train as Fire Warden/First aider (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Maintain network integrity and security by managing user lifecycles through Active Directory and Office 365
- Perform routine hardware maintenance and oversee firewall policies and system imaging
- Manage and configure a diverse range of school-wide IT systems
- Ensure all support incidents and change requests are documented in accordance with team SLAs
- Provide proactive technical support by managing the full ticket lifecycle
- Take ownership of support incidents ensuring high user satisfaction
- Responsible for the full lifecycle of IT and A/V infrastructure
- Set up and operate AV equipment and assist with out-of-hours school events
- Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager

We are a dedicated team supporting a Secondary school and Sixth Form college in Waterlooville, along with two primary schools in Portsmouth, serving around 2,000 users and managing 1,200 Windows devices and much more.
