Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess at least 1 year of proven experience in IT support or a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in computer networking and operating systems. Candidates should have experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration/support. A strong understanding of desktop support principles, computer hardware, networks, and infrastructure is essential. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A valid UK manual car driving license is required. Experience in troubleshooting and supporting modern desktop environments (Windows 10/Windows 11/macOS) is necessary, along with exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. We value a proactive approach to learning new technologies, good time management, and professionalism. A clean Enhanced DBS check, conducted by us, is also a prerequisite.
Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will provide first-line support for technical issues related to LAN, operating systems, and software troubleshooting. You will assist users with desktop support, including hardware and software inquiries. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving technical problems through effective troubleshooting techniques and utilising Remedy for tracking and managing support tickets efficiently. You will collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues when necessary and maintain documentation of technical procedures and solutions to enhance knowledge sharing within the team. Staying updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to provide informed support will also be an important aspect of your position.
