Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with the following essential experience, skills, and knowledge:
- Proven experience in desktop support and endpoint management.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
- Proficiency in Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Autopilot, MDM policies, and application deployment.
- Experience with Entra and Conditional Access policies.
- Good scripting skills using PowerShell.
- Understanding of desktop security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
As the Desktop and Intune Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supporting end-user devices to ensure seamless operation and security across our desktop estate.
- Utilizing Microsoft Intune for modern device management.
- Contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
- Ensuring that the desktop provision is suitable, scalable, and achieves the highest standards.
- Collaborating with all other directorates and managing user expectations.
- Fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and positive impact across the organization.
- Promoting collaboration and maintaining trust within the team while operating independently and as part of the wider team to deliver strategic objectives and exemplary IT service.

This is a Fixed Term Contract appointment for 18 months, located in Birmingham (B5 4UA) with hybrid working options.
