Requirements
Must:
- I require at least 3 years of experience as an Application Support Analyst.
- Knowledge of SQL is mandatory.
- A broad knowledge of database technologies, particularly MS SQL Server, is also mandatory.
- Helpdesk or testing experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with excellent proficiency in both written and verbal English.
- Familiarity with a programming language would be beneficial.
- I seek someone who is capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills are a must.
- We value highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are prepared to go the extra mile.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in fixing data issues, are needed.
- A flexible, can-do attitude, with the capability to multitask and remain resilient under pressure is essential.
- The ability to form good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is important.
Responsibilities
- I will hold you responsible for the stability and availability of applications within the production environment.
- Timely identification of issues and the resolution of incidents will be part of your duties, alongside supporting scheduled tasks and data feeds and fixing data issues.
- You'll need to perform routine tasks such as manual feeds and data loads, and participate in the acceptance testing and deployment of new applications or releases.
- Monitoring processes and procedures for managing the production application environments, including maintenance tasks, incident management, and problem management, will be expected from you.
- You will ensure that the helpdesk system is updated with the progress made on issues.
- Keeping documentation maintained and suitable for support purposes will be part of your role.
- You will also need to ensure that the business is kept informed of the progress of the issues they have raised.
- Involvement in testing activities by carrying out user testing on the applications you will be supporting will be expected.
