Requirements
Must:
- Solid experience in patching systems and software
- ITIL, Microsoft, and CompTIA certifications
- Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is ideal
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, network, and cloud environments
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
- Familiarity with service desk tools such as ServiceNow and Jira Service Desk
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and customers
- Willingness to obtain or hold active SC Clearance
Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact for escalated technical issues and provide expert troubleshooting
- Manage priority (P1) incidents and communications as necessary
- Support and guide 1st Line Support Engineers to ensure efficient incident handling
- Apply patches to systems and software within agreed timescales to maintain system integrity
- Coordinate and implement system changes through established change-management processes
- Monitor performance across hardware, software, network, and cloud environments
- Ensure documentation for common incidents and escalation scenarios is accurate and up to date
