Requirements
Must:
We are seeking an IT Administrator with a minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Administrator, Systems Engineer, or Infrastructure roles. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with LAN/WAN design, WiFi setup, VLANs, patching, and UPS systems. You should be familiar with Google Workspace administration and have knowledge of transitioning to Microsoft environments, including Active Directory and Azure AD. Experience with MDM/endpoint management across Windows and macOS is essential, along with basic scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or Bash. You should also possess a strong security awareness, including knowledge of MFA, SSO, password policies, backups, and zero-trust principles. Excellent documentation, planning, and communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
As part of our technology team, you will lead the IT infrastructure setup at our new office location, which involves networking (LAN/WAN), WiFi access points, structured cabling, patching, VLANs, switches, firewalls, printers, CCTV, power redundancies, and ISP configuration. You will manage our cloud environments, currently utilizing Google Workspace, and lead the planning for our transition to Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD / Entra ID). Additionally, you will oversee endpoint management across macOS and Windows environments using MDM tools such as Jamf and Intune. Your responsibilities will include procuring, configuring, and maintaining hardware, implementing IT policies, administering user access and device enrolment, maintaining asset inventory, monitoring escalated issues from the 1st Line Support Technician, participating in long-term planning for disaster recovery and scalability, liaising with external service providers and vendors, and providing technical support and training for onboarding and offboarding.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly skilled IT Administrator to join our growing team at a pivotal stage of our company's growth, especially as we prepare for a full office relocation and network rebuild. You will collaborate with our 1st line support technician and external vendors, taking the technical lead on networking, security, cloud service integration, and hardware procurement. We value innovation and foresight, as you will have the chance to design and implement systems tailored for our rapidly expanding company, which sees the addition of 2+ new staff members weekly. Preferred qualifications include Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MD-102, SC-300) and networking certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA), as well as previous experience in relocation or office fit-outs, and experience supporting rapid company scale-up. The position offers hybrid working arrangements, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
