Responsibilities
As an L1 Helpdesk technician, I will be responsible for:
- Providing first-line support, including troubleshooting and remote diagnostics for:
  - End user devices: Windows 11, Android, iOS
  - Microsoft 365 and Entra
  - Windows Server 2022
  - Infrastructure, including wireless access points, switches, and firewalls
  - Business systems such as SAP ByDesign (ERP) and AutoTask
  - Conference systems like Teams Room
- Managing device and application deployment using Microsoft Intune
- Overseeing the deployment of new user devices (laptops and mobiles)
- Conducting hardware repairs and upgrades for Dell Pro laptops
- Monitoring all help desk tickets to resolve or escalate issues, while meeting SLA targets
- Understanding cybersecurity controls and escalating any suspicious activity
- Utilizing AI tools, such as Copilot, to automate and improve support processes
- Communicating with staff effectively during issues or incidents
- Attendance in the office is required every day.
Description
Prior experience providing first-line support in a service provider setting is preferred. Candidates should possess proficient computer literacy, particularly with the Office 365 product suite and remote access/support tools. Familiarity with the M365 administration portal and Azure environments is beneficial, and applicants should have a solid understanding of various operating systems, including Windows 11, Microsoft Server 2022, Android, iOS, and Ubuntu Linux. Additionally, a fundamental knowledge of networking technologies, especially with Cisco and Aruba hardware, is advantageous. Professional certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco credentials are a plus. Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, particularly with Sentinel SIEM, is also beneficial.
