Requirements
Must:
- No previous experience required
- 4 National 5s at bands A-C or equivalent
- Higher English and Maths at bands A-C essential
- Previous qualification in an IT related subject at either Higher, NC, NQ or HNC/D level is desirable
- Aged 16-24 at the point of starting the apprenticeship, or 16-29 if disabled or care experienced
- Must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencement
- Able to demonstrate ambition, determination, adaptability, personality, ownership, pro-activity, and willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and first line repairs on non-leased ICT equipment
- Support deployment and disposal routes for ICT equipment
- Maintain appropriate records and systems for the efficient functioning of ICT equipment
- Record support requirements through the service desk
