Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates who possess expertise in front-end development for large-scale systems with high user traffic. You should have extensive experience with open-source technologies, including HTML and CSS. Proficiency in server-side JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks and templating languages is essential. Experience with the Public Sector or Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is beneficial. Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is also required. Additionally, you should have a solid background in building accessible and compliant user interfaces (WCAG) and a wide range of technical systems, including database technologies (SQL or NoSQL), caching tools such as Redis, and APIs.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work with Node.js, Express, and React to deliver accessibility-compliant user interfaces that adhere to well-defined Government Digital Service (GDS) standards. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of testing using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Your contributions will support the successful execution of a complex project with the UK Government over a 12-month period.
