We are looking for candidates with proven experience driving expansion through the implementation of new technologies, smarter ways of working, and scalable operating models that significantly increase efficiency. You should have a track record of providing inspirational leadership to a growing national team of office-based staff, field operatives, and regional managers. Demonstrable success in implementing digital transformation projects, such as AI-enabled scheduling, route optimization, mobile workforce solutions, and schedule-of-rates/time-on-site systems in the maintenance sector is essential. Additionally, you must possess expertise in change management, demonstrating an ability to drive significant organizational growth and restructure into regional operating models. Being highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and deliver at pace, is also crucial.
Responsibilities
As the Head of Property Services, you will deliver a Property Services strategy that is scalable, resilient, and aligned with our ambition to expand to 10,000 bedspaces. You will oversee the effective delivery of responsive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance, void management, utilities, and cleaning services across our national portfolio. This role includes providing strategic leadership and operational management of our property services function, which encompasses field-based maintenance and cleaning teams, regional operations managers, and office-based scheduling. You will drive our expansion by implementing new technologies and smarter ways of working, and you will be directly responsible for a team comprising 30 office-based staff and 90 field-based operatives.
