Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Good understanding of APIs, microservices, and relational databases
- Exposure to frontend development using React/TypeScript
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and authentication technologies
- Knowledge of testing, CI/CD, and observability best practices
- Right to work in the UK (ILR, settled status, or British passport)
- Willingness to work from the office in Newcastle city centre for 3 days per week
Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, scalable software solutions and APIs
- Develop backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL)
- Optimise databases for performance and scalability
- Implement secure identity and authentication services
- Support frontend delivery when required
- Drive best practices in testing, CI/CD, and observability
