Requirements
Must:
- Senior-level experience delivering complex Java systems
- Practical experience using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
- Strong grounding in Java technologies such as threading, JDBC, sockets, HTTP/S, EJB, and JPA
- Solid SQL skills and experience deploying Java applications (ideally Wildfly)
- Some experience with client-side JavaScript
- Desirable experience with GWT / GWT-EXT, PostgreSQL / PostGIS, working with CSV data, Eclipse / Maven, and Java-to-Microsoft Office automation
Responsibilities
- Enhance existing applications and support internal systems
- Contribute to application development and integrations
- Provide operational support
- Help the team explore practical uses of AI in engineering workflows
- Occasionally provide out-of-hours support as needed
