Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrable experience leading IT Change Management processes, running CAB and maintaining required standards, including reporting.
- Demonstrable experience of managing major incidents, communication with senior stakeholders, completing root cause analysis, and being a confident coordinator for incident activities.
- Demonstrable understanding of ITIL framework and governance measures.
- Knowledge of ISO20000 and ISO27001 standards (desirable).
- Exposure to Jira Service Management software (desirable).
- Effective communication skills with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in service reporting and performance analysis.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple processes simultaneously.
- Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning (desirable).
- Experience with IT Service Transition processes or ways of working (desirable).
- Certification in ITIL Foundation (minimum), ISO20000 and/or ISO27001 highly desirable.
- At least 2 years proven experience in IT service management roles, with exposure to major incident, change, problem, and service transition processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Major Incident process, ensuring swift resolution and timely communication to stakeholders.
- Execute and oversee change requests, minimizing risks and disruptions while ensuring adherence to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes.
- Analyse recurring incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Facilitate smooth transitions for new or modified services, ensuring operational readiness and compliance.
- Monitor and report on service performance, ensuring SLAs are met and exceeded where possible.
- Prepare detailed service reports and conduct regular reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) plans, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Ensure all processes align with ISO20000 and ISO27001 standards.
- Identify areas for service enhancement, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
