Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering cloud migration projects in an IT services or consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure (knowledge of AWS and GCP is beneficial).
- Proficiency in networking, identity management, security, and governance in cloud environments.
- Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, and lead delivery teams.
- Experience working in IT Managed Services or MSP environments.
- Desirable: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect). Experience with M365 migrations, hybrid environments, and legacy infrastructure transformation. Knowledge of automation, DevOps, and cloud-native services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams to shape cloud migration proposals, ensuring solutions are both commercially viable and technically sound.
- Engage with clients to understand their business needs, current IT environments, and migration objectives.
- Design cloud migration strategies and architectures (public, private, and hybrid), producing high-quality documentation and solution designs.
- Lead the technical delivery of cloud migrations, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Provide subject matter expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP), networking, security, and modern workplace solutions.
- Act as the technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and handover to managed services teams.
- Stay up to date with cloud technologies and best practices to continuously enhance service offerings.
Description
