Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and features
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies
- Experience with REST API integrations
- Familiarity with IT service delivery processes and best practices
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and development standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead and subject-matter expert for the ServiceNow platform
- Design, build, and maintain workflows, automations, and service catalogue items
- Develop and customise ServiceNow using JavaScript
- Own platform administration including upgrades, security, performance, and technical debt
- Build and maintain REST API integrations with systems such as Entra ID and HR platforms
- Deliver joiner, mover, and leaver automation and cross-system data flows
- Translate IT and business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Work closely with Information Security to ensure platform security and compliance
Description
We are an IT department within a large, multi-site organisation, seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to take ownership of our ServiceNow platform. We offer a salary of up to £65k, depending on experience, and a full-time, permanent position. This role provides strong technical autonomy and an opportunity to shape the direction of our platform in driving digital transformation.
