Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent experience/qualification) and strong, practical knowledge of Cisco networking technologies. You should have proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel), and QoS. Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA/FTD firewalls, wireless solutions (Catalyst or Meraki), and VPN technologies is essential. Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., PRTG, Wireshark, NetFlow) will also be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network security). You will monitor and optimise network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and apply corrective measures. Your responsibilities will include configuring and managing networking equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies, predominantly using Cisco. You will carry out on-site installations and upgrades when required, provide technical escalation for the support team, and offer guidance and mentoring. Additionally, you will conduct network assessments, capacity planning, and create documentation to support network stability and compliance.
