Requirements

Must:
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of proven experience as a Technical Project Engineer or in a similar role. You should have proficiency in architecting, implementing, and troubleshooting cloud, hardware, software, and network systems. A strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Azure, and Microsoft 365 is essential, along with familiarity with Meraki, Watchguard, and cloud networking technologies. Experience with Entra ID, Group Policy, Endpoint Manager, and other administrative and security-focused tools, as well as proven project management experience, is crucial. Additionally, you should be experienced with the Cyber Essentials framework and beyond.

Responsibilities

As our IT Project Engineer, I will expect you to serve as the lead project engineer, architecting, implementing, and managing a wide range of IT and networking projects. You will act as a key technical escalation point and engage with existing customers and sales leads to understand their requirements, delivering transformative solutions. You will handle escalated IT support tickets, provide comprehensive documentation, and offer training to both support teams and customers. You will also deliver internal IT project work, focusing on deploying and managing IT and network infrastructure, while enhancing internal systems and security protocols. Conducting onboarding surveys for new IT customers is also part of your responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for them. Throughout your work, you will need to be independent in finding resolutions and improving customer outcomes in line with our company standards.
