- Proven experience delivering customer-facing technical consultancy within IT infrastructure or managed services.
- Strong knowledge across IT infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, Azure, and cybersecurity.
- A confident communicator capable of influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset to work closely with sales, delivery, and support teams.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Fortinet, Veeam, or Ubiquiti.
- Hands-on Azure architecture and migration experience.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, NIST, and CIS.
- Understanding of modern networking, including SD-WAN, SASE, and ZTNA.
- Experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Conduct customer audits and discovery sessions (either virtually or on-site) to assess infrastructure and understand business needs.
- Translate findings into actionable solution outlines, recommendations, and proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams on project delivery, assisting with migrations, configurations, and reviews.
- Document customer environments, update reports, and share insights with colleagues.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and pursue certifications to enhance your expertise.
