Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers. Your responsibilities will include driving technical excellence and the adoption of best practices such as CI/CD, code reviews, and testing. You will collaborate with product, design, and other stakeholders to deliver business-critical projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting and retaining top technical talent, setting objectives, tracking performance, and supporting career progression for your team. Promoting innovation while maintaining compliance and risk controls in a regulated environment is also a key aspect of this role.
Description
This position is for an experienced Application Engineering Manager in the financial services sector, based in Manchester with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office).
