Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in 3rd line support within an MSP environment. You should have excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, O365, Azure, and Active Directory. A solid understanding of networking concepts such as firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP is essential. Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V, as well as familiarity with cloud services, is also required. Strong communication and leadership skills are necessary, along with a proven ability to mentor junior staff and support their technical growth.
Responsibilities
As a 3rd Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support across a broad range of technologies, including Microsoft, networking, cloud, and security. You will act as an escalation point for complex technical issues arising from the 1st and 2nd line teams. Working closely with the Service Desk Manager, you will monitor ticket queues to ensure SLA compliance and enhance service delivery processes. Additionally, you will assist in mentoring, training, and developing service desk staff while contributing to documentation, knowledge base articles, and process improvements. You may also work on infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and migrations as required.
