Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience delivering IT projects end-to-end.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
- Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Familiarity with regulated environments and technology/software projects.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers.
- PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or APM membership is a plus but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and delivery timelines.
- Build, maintain, and own project schedules and delivery plans.
- Allocate and coordinate cross-functional resources including developers, QA, and designers.
- Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and manage project-level communication.
- Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and steering meetings.
- Oversee testing phases (QA, integration, UAT) and manage go-live readiness.
- Drive progress across teams and third-party suppliers while removing blockers.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Description
We are New Resource Recruitment, seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT projects from inception to delivery for our client based in Chippenham. This is a part-time, 12-month contract role, perfect for those who excel at keeping projects and teams on track. We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid and homeworking options, with a salary of £20,000 per annum (FTE £50,000).
