Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience as a Network Architect.
- Proven expertise in Core Networks (LAN/WAN/DC/DDI), Network Functions, and Endpoint Connectivity.
- Strong understanding of security platforms such as firewalls and Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Familiarity with architectural guidance and solution design.
- Ability to lead design and solution workshops with stakeholders across multiple regions (UK, EMEA, APAC).
- Experience in delivering network architecture artifacts, including both high-level and low-level designs.
- Knowledge in defining and validating test cases for new builds, upgrades, and platform retirements.
- Strong oversight experience in Contact Centre and IVR systems, call recording deployment, and Load Balancer architecture.
- Excellent collaboration skills, particularly working with engineering and operations teams.
- Commitment to ensuring architecture decisions align with TMRF resilience and metal uplift objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural guidance and solution design across the DDI (Core Networks), Network Functions, and Endpoint Connectivity workstreams.
- Lead design and solution workshops with stakeholders in the UK, EMEA, and APAC regions.
- Deliver network architecture artifacts, including high-level and low-level designs.
- Define and validate test cases for new builds, upgrades, and platform retirements.
- Oversee the integration strategies for Contact Centre and IVR systems.
- Align call recording deployments and design failover strategies.
- Design Load Balancer architecture, including high availability, routing policies, and application awareness.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless build, configuration, and testing phases.
- Ensure that architecture decisions support TMRF's resilience and metal uplift goals.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer for long-term support and maintainability.
Description
We are looking for a seasoned Network Architect to support our TMRF program, which includes essential streams such as Core Networks, Network Functions, and Endpoint Connectivity. This role is crucial for providing architectural leadership in legacy modernization, infrastructure uplift, and the integration of voice, data, and application services, including Load Balancer platforms. This contract role is remote and will span 6 months, offering a competitive daily rate of £650 - £700 (Inside IR35).
