Requirements
Must:
- Current active enhanced DV clearance
- Proven experience as a Linux and Windows Systems Engineer
- Strong knowledge of HMG ICT and network standards
- Understanding of HMG documentation standards
- Experience with VMware (Broadcom VCF)
- Expertise in Linux (RedHat OpenShift)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows (including AD, RDS, Group Policy)
- Familiarity with MS Exchange
- Experience in Privileged Access Management, Auditing & logging policies, Backup & Storage, and IP Networking
- Ideally, knowledge and experience in Testing
Responsibilities
- Deliver a pre-production test environment for a secure messaging system
- Follow build instructions provided by the vendor and create internal build documentation
- Install and configure RedHat OpenShift Platform
- Build and test the production environment
- Plan, track, and report on progress for internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with required stakeholders across the client business to understand the system
- Contribute to and agree on test plans with the test team to prove the solution
- Work on-site a minimum of 4 days a week (Farnborough)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to support the development of an internal messaging platform for our client. This is an urgent contract position for an initial 6 months, with potential for extension, located in Hampshire. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team working on critical infrastructure projects.
