Requirements
Must:
- 5 years of hands-on cloud security experience with Azure
- Proven expertise in secure architecture design and DevOps integration
- Strong knowledge of IAM, Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM
- Familiarity with security tools (MS Defender, Palo Alto Prisma) and compliance frameworks
- Relevant certifications: AZ-500, AZ-400, CCSP (preferred)
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, insurance) (preferred)
- Information Security and/or Information Technology industry certification (CISSP, CISM, CRISC) (preferred)
- Experience with other Cloud vendors (AWS, GCP) (preferred)
- Scripting and automation expertise (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure Azure environments, integrating DevOps and CI/CD pipelines with security gates
- Develop and enforce Policy as Code, IAM, and privileged access security controls
- Manage Azure security services (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure Policy) and ensure robust network security (VNETs, NSGs, Firewalls, VPN/ExpressRoute)
- Oversee data protection, secrets management, and container security (AKS)
- Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA tools into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate on compliance (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
Description
We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis, starting ASAP. This is an onsite role located in Suffolk, requiring attendance three days per week. The successful candidate will work closely with our technical and delivery teams to ensure that cloud security controls are effectively designed and validated across Azure environments. We offer a competitive rate of £500 - £510 per day inside of IR35, with the opportunity to contribute to significant cloud adoption initiatives and security advancements.
