Requirements
Must:
- 5 years or more experience in Cisco ISE
- CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification
- Experience with design and deployment for large scale data center and office infrastructure
- Proficient in Cisco ISE multi-cluster and inter-regional domains
- Integration skills with Cisco Wireless, Catalyst Centre (SDA), and F5s load balancers
- Understanding of HP Aruba ClearPass and multi-AAA technologies (advantageous)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Cisco ISE
- Detail-oriented with an end-user experience mindset
- Ability to produce high-level and low-level design documentation in a timely manner
- Familiarity with technologies such as SGT, Dot1x, PXGRID, Radius, CIMC, MAB, TACACS, AD, VXLAN, LISP, DHCP, DNS, ILO, Captive Guest, and Certificate management
- Knowledge of applications such as HLD, LLD, ServiceNow, Remedy, Visio, SharePoint, VKVM
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy network solutions for large scale data centers and office infrastructures
- Support and troubleshoot Cisco ISE systems
- Integrate and configure Cisco Wireless and Catalyst Centre solutions
- Collaborate with teams to produce high-level and low-level design documentation
- Ensure timely and effective implementation of network solutions
- Maintain detailed documentation of networking setups and configurations
- Contribute to ongoing improvements and optimizations in network performance
- Engage with stakeholders to address end-user experience needs
Description
We are seeking an experienced Cisco ISE Network Engineer for a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension. Our client is a large enterprise operating in the Surrey, SE London, or NW England area, with on-site requirements for just 2 days a week. You will have the opportunity to work on a significant client project that demands expertise in Cisco technologies. We offer a competitive rate of £500-£510 per day, deemed inside IR35.
