We are seeking a candidate who holds DV Clearance and is a British Citizen, as this is essential for the role. You must meet the security requirements to proceed with the application.
Responsibilities
In this role as a Solution Architect, you will support the SECRET Cloud Hosting ecosystem with a particular focus on integrating the SCC Hyperscale platform. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the SCC Preferred Bidder to establish an S-Cloud DevOps function to assist the platform and its customers.
- Working closely with the MODCloud Official team to adapt existing DevOps functions and methodologies for S-Cloud.
- Leading the design and configuration of CI/CD Pipelines and Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tooling for the SCC platform.
- Assisting in the recruitment of the S-Cloud DevOps team.
- Generating design artefacts for the SCC DevOps function and supporting the creation of governance artefacts that ensure compliance with MOD 453, 440 governances and align with NCSC and industry-best practices.
- Developing Landing Zone architectures and tenancy designs for the SCC Hyperscale platform.
- Engaging with various working groups across Defence and government.
- Providing coaching and mentoring to junior architects within the design team.
Description
This is a 12-month initial contract position based in Corsham with hybrid working options. The daily rate for this role is £640 and it falls under the Inside IR35 category. We are looking for a committed individual who can lead on technical integrations and foster collaboration within the team.
