Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM subject (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields) with a strong maths background
- Familiarity with signal processing or Fourier Transforms
- Experience with C++ (1 year preferred)
- Problem-solving skills and a creative mindset
- Initiative and quick learner
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse individuals
Responsibilities
- Participate in a fast-track training program covering consultative and technical skills relevant to software development
- Learn and apply knowledge of signal processing, computer architectures, C++, and DevOps to real-life projects
- Work onsite in BAE Systems Guildford office following training
- Engage in team projects and contribute ideas for process improvements
- Collaborate with a diverse range of professionals in developing high-performance software solutions
Description
At BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, we are a leading supplier of cyber, intelligence, and security solutions for the UK Government and trusted partners. Our Wireless Products team develops innovative technology that includes high-performance software and embedded systems for environments ranging from underwater to outer space. We provide a supportive and flexible work culture, emphasizing work-life balance while encouraging personal and professional development. Training will begin remotely in April 2026, followed by an onsite project placement in Guildford or Great Baddow.
