We are seeking an experienced SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) with proven expertise in SAP Bridge and S/4 HANA. You should have strong hands-on experience in the PP (Production Planning) and MM (Materials Management) modules, and experience with the Variant Configurator (VC) is highly desirable. A familiarity with data migration activities in SAP environments and expertise in plant structure changes within SAP is essential. Additionally, you must have a strong background in supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and providing end-user guidance. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are vital, along with the ability to work collaboratively with project coordinators, Key Users (KUs), and business teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will act as a functional SME, supporting both the Project Coordinator and SAP Key Users. Your responsibilities will include providing expertise in PP and MM modules, assisting with the manual entry and validation of SAP VC data, BOM IDs, dependencies, and pricing. You will guide and assist in the transition from one plant structure to four plants and support data migration activities from SAP Bridge to S/4 HANA tables in preparation for upcoming migration phases. You will also play a critical role in validation, dry migration, UAT testing, and training activities, serving as a practical, go-to resource for SAP users of varying skill levels.
Description
Our client is undergoing a significant transformation, moving several of its companies from SAP ECC Bridge to SAP S/4 HANA, with a Go-Live date set for April 1st, 2026. This program is being delivered following a core model solution and will incorporate several SAP satellite/bolt-on solutions. The contract duration for this position extends until May 2026, aligned with the program's Go-Live date, and we are looking to start this position immediately.
