- I seek candidates with a strong understanding of on-premise infrastructure, including storage, networking, and operating systems.
- Experience with backup and data protection platforms is essential.
- Candidates must possess excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound, timely decisions.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- You should be comfortable working in a global, team-oriented environment.
- Desirable skills include proficiency in, or eagerness to learn, a high-level programming language, systems administration experience (UNIX and/or Windows Server), and familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS, S3/object storage).
- Additional preferences include experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift, cloud computing experience, project delivery experience, and exposure to software vulnerability detection, security hardening, or penetration testing.

Responsibilities
- I want you to integrate and support third-party vendor backup and data protection solutions.
- You will develop in-house applications and tooling, focusing on testing, capacity management, and automation.
- Collaborating with global teams to capture requirements and deliver solutions will be part of your role.
- You will advise and communicate technical approaches to stakeholders of differing technical backgrounds.
- Troubleshooting issues alongside operations and engineering colleagues will be crucial.
- I expect you to contribute actively to team meetings and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
