Requirements
Must:
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Solace PubSub
- Strong understanding of event-driven and messaging principles
- Good knowledge of networking concepts, platform performance tuning, and cloud deployment patterns
- Ability to analyse issues across application, network, and infrastructure layers
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams
- Experience with Prometheus or Grafana (useful extra)
- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or similar infrastructure as code tools (useful extra)
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full lifecycle of the messaging platform, from deploying brokers to tuning performance
- Manage access controls and optimise resources
- Ensure reliable application connectivity across the estate
- Troubleshoot problems and refine configurations
- Improve observability and drive upgrades, automation, and improved resilience
- Work across development, infrastructure, and cloud teams to deliver a stable and well-governed messaging service
- Perform continuous improvement of Solace environments
