Requirements
Must:
- Degree or equivalent experience in a technical ICT based discipline
- Extensive relevant experience in cloud, development, application, integration, and/or data development
- Extensive Azure IaaS and PaaS solution management, tooling, automation, scripting, and implementation experience
- Extensive Intune and Autopilot solution management and implementation experience
- In-depth knowledge of the evergreen Modern Management ecosystem and device support
- Experience leading and working with technical and expert staff in professional and matrix structures
- Strong analytical, visualization, and communication skills; ability to translate business requirements using analysis methods
- Understanding and experience of AGILE software development and ITIL support & service frameworks
- Broad and deep knowledge and skills to work across complex heterogeneous systems
- Commitment to remaining technically competent in emerging technologies
- Welsh Language level A1 required, with support available for learning
- Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance and a satisfactory DBS check
Responsibilities
- Lead and be accountable for the implementation of solution designs, architecture, and strategic technical building blocks across Azure
- Direct, oversee, and coordinate Azure/Microsoft Modern Management implementation and configuration work
- Act as a technical advisor authority and escalation point for incident management and mentoring
- Collaborate with the Principal Architect to maintain NRW ICT principles, blueprints, and reference designs
- Engage in strategic discussions with the Principal Architect and ICT seniors on technology development
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and facilitate early transition to new services
- Ensure all implementations meet security best practices and collaborate with the Security Team
- Work closely with developers, PMs, BAs, support teams, and stakeholders throughout the system life cycle
- Develop and maintain low-level designs, documentation, and knowledge bases
- Participate in incident response activities and fulfill other reasonable duties as required
