Cloud Configuration Specialist

- Lead and be accountable for the implementation of solution designs, architecture, and strategic technical building blocks of NRWs Microsoft services across Azure PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS - Direct, oversee, coordinate and action Azure implementation and configuration work packages - Act as a technical authority and escalation point for other lines of service, participating in major incident management and mentoring - Collaborate with the Principal Architect to create and maintain NRW ICT principles, blueprints, reference designs, and artefacts - Engage in strategic discussions with senior ICT members, assisting in the development of portfolio services - Stay technically competent in rapidly emerging Cloud technologies and ensure timely transition to new versions of services - Ensure all implementations meet security best practices and policies, addressing concerns proactively with the Security Team - Work with NRW developers, PMs, BAs, support teams, and stakeholders to ensure solution quality - Develop and maintain low level designs, supporting documentation, knowledge bases, and wikis - Undertake health and safety duties relevant to the position - Commit to Natural Resources Wales Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy - Engage in personal development through the effective use of a personal development plan - Perform other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with the grade of the role
