Requirements
Must:
- Experience of ATMS configuration management (site data) and its application to roadside technologies such as Signs, Signals and MIDAS
- Experience of wider Intelligent Transport System technical frameworks such as: UTMC, NTCIP, DATEX2
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language
- Strong storytelling skills to connect solutions to operational and strategic outcomes
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
- Knowledge of roadside environment specifications and standards
- Understanding of the design decisions and methodologies for mission-critical operational systems
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for the development of technical standards, policies, and architectures related to site data and configuration
- Proactively identify problems and translate them into widely understood descriptions
- Support and manage the development of an active operational technology community
- Work collaboratively across organisational boundaries to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
- Act as the Technical Authority for Operational Technology Site Data and Configuration
- Define, develop, and communicate architectural guardrails, specifications, and roadmaps for operational technology data services
- Engage with and support supply chain in the delivery of new or updated technologies, including reviewing designs and enforcing technical policies
