Requirements
Must:
- Over five years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting roles within B2B SaaS, focusing on IT Finance, FinOps, or cloud cost management.
- Ability to build relationships and influence executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in financial management concepts, IT budgeting, cost allocation, and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with complex enterprise sales strategies and methodologies, such as MEDDPICC, RAMPACT, SPIN, and Force Management.
- Knowledgeable about cloud cost optimization (Azure, AWS, GCP), TBM frameworks, ERP integrations (SAP/Oracle), and BI tools.
- Effective communicator and collaborator, able to thrive in fast-moving, evolving environments while managing multiple enterprise stakeholders.
- TBM or FinOps certification is advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be engaging as a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, playing a critical role in driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth by leading the end-to-end technical sales cycle. My responsibilities will include conducting discovery meetings, designing tailored solutions, delivering demonstrations, managing RFPs, and leading Proof of Value engagements. I will work closely with IT and Finance stakeholders to align our solutions with their business needs in IT cost transparency, budgeting, forecasting, and cloud cost management (AWS, Azure, GCP). As a trusted advisor, I will translate complex technical and financial concepts into clear business outcomes.
Description
This opportunity allows me to join a leading IT software services organization in a hybrid work environment, requiring 1-2 days per week in our London office. I will support enterprise sales activities and drive revenue growth within the UK and EMEA. My strong communication skills and expertise in C-level engagement will be crucial as I contribute to a growing and exciting team in the UK. Previous experience in a similar Pre-Sales or Solution Engineering role is essential, and I must possess experience in IT Finance, Cloud Cost Management, and FinOps.
