Requirements
Must:
- Experience in RF communications systems implementation, testing, and analysis
- Strong background in RF circuit design and modelling
- Proficiency with spectrum analysers and vector network analysers
- Familiarity with Software Defined Radios (SDR) and development tools
- Desirable skills include antenna optimisation and characterisation, RF algorithm development, DSP experience, embedded systems vulnerability analysis, and knowledge of Python, C/C++, VHDL, OpenCPI, GnuRadio, development on Linux, and GitLab
Responsibilities
As an RF Engineer, I will work on a range of high-profile programmes, developing and testing advanced RF systems in support of Defence and Intelligence missions. I will have the opportunity to specialise in areas such as RF circuit modelling, antenna design, and test & measurement, while also contributing to research and development of new RF-based technologies. This role will offer me variety, technical challenge, and the chance to make a tangible impact in the field of secure communications and mission systems.
