Must:
- I require a formal IT qualification in IT or Information Systems.
- I am looking for someone with experience in a senior role within a manufacturing or commercial environment across multiple sites.
- Compliance regulations knowledge, such as ISO13485 and ISO9001, is essential; ISO27001 experience is an advantage.
- Proven experience managing a team is necessary.
- I need someone who has experience training users in new applications.
- Excellent skills in leadership, communication, and stakeholder management are a must.
- Experience in presenting IT reports to senior-level management is required.
- Proficiency in Windows, Windows server platforms, Hyper V, Microsoft technology stack, Excel with VBA, SQL, as well as expertise in ERP systems and data analytical tools is expected.
- It would be beneficial to have experience working alongside IT functions in other countries to encourage best practice.
- Experience in leading/providing secure, reliable, and accurate e-trading facilities is preferred.
- A full driving license is required due to the need to travel between the UK sites.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the implementation, management, and monitoring of IT projects and tasks in line with company costs and deadlines.
- I will identify and implement company-wide business process improvements.
- I will contribute to comprehensive IT support, handling everything from front-line inquiries to more complex considerations.
- I am responsible for the regular maintenance of hardware and software in line with manufacturers' recommendations and budget constraints.
- I will ensure IT operational prudence to safeguard our assets and data.
- I will ensure that IT systems and networks are secure, compliant with data protection, GDPR requirements, and legal standards.
- I will develop the Management Information Systems (MIS) technical requirements for the company.
- I will manage and maintain the company's internal and external networks.
- I will oversee a small team while managing the HR processes and their development.
- I will manage IT service contracts while maintaining a cost-effective approach.

As the IT Manager, I will be a highly skilled and conscientious leader, steering an IT team across three locations in the North West. I expect my contributions to be integral in leading the implementation of our technical architecture, enhancing business processes, achieving Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation, and supporting cost-effective business applications, systems, and processes. I want to engage and actively contribute my technical knowledge to help the IT function achieve continuous high-level performance across all sites.
