Requirements
Must:
- Experience in data protection and privacy impact assessments
- Strong understanding of GDPR, Data Protection Act, and privacy principles
- Experience with data processing agreements and privacy notices
- NHS experience is desirable
Responsibilities
- Lead privacy assessments for new and existing service and system developments
- Develop, implement, and monitor data processing and sharing agreements
- Coordinate and manage Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to ensure privacy compliance
- Manage incident processes and escalate as needed
Description
We are South London and Maudsley NHS FT, looking for a Data Protection Lead to oversee privacy compliance and provide data security assurance at our Maudsley Hospital location in London. This is a full-time, hybrid role that offers flexibility and a pay rate of £29.78 per hour plus holiday pay, with the possibility of extensions up to 1 year.
