Requirements
Must:
- Proven Microsoft Azure experience, including building and configuring virtual servers.
- Hands-on experience building, configuring, and maintaining servers (physical and virtual).
- Experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid networking.
- Expert in Microsoft network operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain servers both on-premises and in Azure cloud.
- Manage Active Directory, email systems, SQL databases, and storage solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot server and cloud infrastructure issues to ensure high availability.
- Plan, execute, and support migration of workloads to Azure cloud.
Description
At Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a Cloud Server Engineer (Azure) to lead and support our IT infrastructure at Moorgreen Hospital. This role will involve managing servers and ensuring the security and reliability of our IT systems while playing a critical role in migrating our infrastructure to the Azure cloud. We offer a competitive pay rate of £24.82/hr plus holiday pay, and the possibility of a 6-month contract extension.
