Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience as a Systems Analyst or similar
- Ideally have worked within the Utilities sector
- Proven experience in administering training, development, and competency platforms
- Experience with construction management software, or digital form capture technologies is advantageous
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret information logically
- Strong communication, presentational, and written skills to describe complex issues simply
- Systematic and creative minded approach to problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while producing good quality work
- Experienced at gathering requirements with strong negotiating skills
- Proficient in prioritization of calls
- Excellent at transferring knowledge through user guides or training
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and support business systems
- Manage the investigation and resolution of application incidents
- Aid and advise business users in effective use of applications and information technology
- Manage change requests through the full systems life cycle to completion
- Perform requirement gathering, feasibility analysis, specification, build, and configuration
- Conduct testing, UAT, training, and operational handover
- Take ownership of the problem management process to identify root causes of critical incidents
- Reconcile issues across support teams to improve incident management processes
- Provide support to ICT projects, including testing, UAT, and operational handover
- Raise and manage tickets with 3rd party systems
- Carry out testing of business continuity plans and maintain Disaster Recovery plans
- Install security patches/service packs in line with Cyber Essentials
- Identify and report information security risks, taking actions to mitigate incidents
