Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in the installation and fault finding of Structured Cabling Systems
- Strong background in cabling and patching for both Copper and Fibre
- Solid working knowledge of networking and ability to rack/stack, decommission, and upgrade networking equipment and devices
- Familiarity with the setup and operation of Fluke Analysers
- Ability to locate and rectify faults on structured cabling systems
- Working towards or currently possess Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network certification
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Network Cable Installer (CNCI) certification
- Knowledge of Nlyte and/or iPatch imVision Voice Systems
- IOSH Working Safely certification
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with customers
Responsibilities
- Provide 16/7 support in 8-hour shifts to maintain critical systems for our clients
- Tackle service calls, resolving faults and provisioning new solutions
- Drive Business as Usual (BAU) projects and approved change works
- Ensure all calls allocated are delivered within our clients Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Monitor quality and productivity against programme and maintain daily site records and reports
- Ensure design and installation meet internal and client specifications and statutory requirements
- Work within ‘Live’ customer sites to complete installations and services
- Interact with customers in a professional and informative manner to build trust
