Requirements
Must:
- Experience in IT Operations, ideally both Web Operations and Dev Ops
- Knowledge in release and deployment management, operational support (ITIL - incident, change management and problem), and monitoring of services
- Experience delivering, implementing, and administrating cloud solutions (AWS & Azure) and using both Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and open-source packages
- Strong understanding of information security, GDPR, control, and threat mitigation
- Problem-solving skills to debug complex distributed applications, services, and databases
- Strong track record in teamwork, collaborative working, communication, and stakeholder management
- Knowledge and interest in technology delivery and its alignment with the Trusts core purpose and strategy
Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and optimize servers, databases, services, and applications across various environments from development to production
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-impact digital solutions at pace
- Focus on continuous improvement and security of digital services
- Address a broad spectrum of challenges using diverse tools and approaches
- Participate in discussions on location-based working requirements for the role
Description
We are seeking an AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join us on a 12 month Fixed Term Basis at our head office in Swindon. Our IT department is essential for enabling the Trust to meet its strategic objectives, and we pride ourselves on delivering priority information services effectively. The role includes a competitive salary of £60,000 (inclusive of a £10,000 reviewable market supplement) and a dynamic work environment that emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
