Requirements
Must:
- Startup experience (founder or early employee)
- Deep experience with Python
- Understanding of web scraping, proxies, and browser automation (Playwright)
- Ability to balance building for scale with pragmatic solutions
- Desire for autonomy and responsibility in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to jump into React/Tailwind for UI tweaks
- Experience managing high-volume data and scraping
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for our growing team
- Brainstorm ideas and architecture with founders
- Build and ship features using Python (Django) and Postgres
- Manage enterprise-level scraping (1,000s of requests/second) and reverse-engineering of public data sources
- Maintain and expand our Chrome extension that connects our platform with customer accounts
- Utilize ChatGPT/Copilot to speed up the development process
- Participate in front-end development as needed with React/Tailwind
