Requirements
Must:
I require you to have experience with infrastructure, including virtualization (Hyper-V), physical Windows servers, and storage. You should be proficient with Windows Server versions 2012-2019, as well as Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Failover Manager. Strong experience with Azure Cloud and migration is essential, along with knowledge of cloud networking principles and technologies. Additionally, familiarity with hardware and software patching and firmware upgrades is needed. Asset management experience is also beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will entrust you with building and managing our on-prem servers (Windows), virtualization (Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (Azure). Your tasks will include working with both physical and virtual hardware while ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our infrastructure. I will expect you to monitor and maintain the performance and availability of our systems, which includes regular maintenance, patching, and updates. You will also implement and maintain security measures to protect the infrastructure and lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
