Requirements
Must:
- Experience working as a Designer within product teams
- Solid understanding and application of user-centered design principles
- Evidence of planning, running, and synthesizing user research
- Experience creating prototypes to explore and evaluate ideas
- Proficiency with industry design tools (we use Figma!)
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and how to apply them in practice
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to different audiences
Responsibilities
- Drive the design of our core products through all stages of Design
- Collaborate with cross-functional Product teams within our Defleet area
- Plan and run research to understand user problems deeply
- Use insights to inform design decisions and create tangible prototypes
- Consider complete end-to-end journeys including people and processes
- Communicate with developers to ensure that user interactions, content needs, and accessibility requirements are met
- Contribute to the growth of our Design practice and improve design problem-solving
- Collaborate with other designers on cross-product challenges
- Ensure that WCAG 2.2 standards are met and promote inclusive design
